Human has the tendency of the underwater exploration since the first days of the civilization to find foods. The papers of history suggest that the people know the concept of scuba diving since 100 A.D. Even in the early fourteenth century the Persian people were familiar to the ‘underwater goggles’ made of the shells. One of the most important inventions in the field of scuba diving is the ‘air pump’, which was invented by Mr. John Smeaton in the year 1771. Mr. Siur Freminet invented the ‘re-breathing device’ in 1772. But unfortunately the quality of that ‘re-breathing device’ was not up to the mark.

Mr. William James invented the concept of the modern scuba diving in 1825. He shaped the practicable design, in which the ‘compressed air’ was passed in a ‘circular container’ around the waist of the diver. After that two people, John Dean and Charles Dean invented the ‘diving helmet’ in 1829, which became the most important part while performing the discipline of diving. The first known scuba diver with the modern concept was Mr. Charles Condert. Unfortunately he died while diving. In the next footstep, Denayrouse and Mr. Rouquayrol invented the ‘demand regulator’ in 1865, which was charged up to 40 bars. Later Mr. Louis Boutan enhanced the limit up to 200 bars during 1918. The modern underwater goggles are used since 1935. For your further information the first ever Mr. Yves Le Prievr developed ‘scuba diving training center’.

So it is evident that the scuba diving is now in its place after passing a great history.
